Ssi mwana kijjolooto, bwali wa nnyonyi abuse

It is believed that this clan ruled Bukunja. This kingdom included the present day Kyaggwe and some of the islands in Nnalubaale or the present day Lake Victoria. These people were defeated by the Baganda and their Kingdom annexed to Buganda.
There is a belief that these people were of Nnyonyi Nnyange clan but fell out with them after a conflict. They decided to start their own clan and they chose the bird Nakinsige to be their uniting symbol.
